500 North Capitol Street is a commercial office building located in Washington, DC, USA. The building was originally constructed in 1966, and the facade was retrofitted in 2012. The retrofit plan increased the building area with the addition of a new ninth floor and roof deck. The facade retrofit involved mainly a whole replacement of the original system with a new curtain wall in two facades, while the other two sides feature precast concrete with large punched windows.
