DESCRIPTION The Alcide De Gasperi building hosts the European Parliament and was built in 1935 in Luxembourg City. The office building was the first 'skyscraper' in the city. A renovation project of the high-rise office building took place in 2010. The facade was entirely replaced to respond to high thermal performance. A compact ventilated double skin facade with special installation method due to limited access was installed. The system integrates Venetian blinds.
