DESCRIPTION The Operations Center at Harvard University was built in 1888 originally for the Cambridge Electric Light Company. In 2005, the building underwent a renovation to host the Operation Center Headquarters. The renovation included improvement of masonry walls and replacement of windows with high-performance insulated glass ones. Walls were insulated with a sprayed, open-cell urethane foam from the inside that would allow the walls to dry properly. The building achieved LEED Platinum level in 2006.
