DESCRIPTION
The Le Meriden Hotel in Zhengzhou, China received a complete renovation that included a total reclad. The new highly-glazed facade feature distinctive glass boxes, inspired in the concept of an "archive" for artifacts in the Henan's province culture.

A 5-story podium hosts public program. while the main tower contains 350 guest rooms. The concrete facade shell gives an unique dynamic to the building. The solid portions of the concrete walls features perforated patterns also inspired in native flowers.
